Patrick Day

Patrick Day currently serves as Chief Technology Officer of Tomestic, a startup providing access to immersive technology that engages long-term memory and increases information recall, and as Principal Software Engineering Lead at Microsoft, where he leads a team of 12 talented software engineers building the next generation Build system for Windows. Patrick Day received an M.S. degree in Applied Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, United States. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Computational Engineering with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Mississippi State University. His main research interests include autonomic computing, computational intelligence, machine learning, and software engineering & architecture. In addition, he has more than 20 years of industry experience with such companies as GE, ADP, The Weather Company (IBM), ABB, Oracle, and Hewlett-Packard.
