Matt O’Shaughnessy
Matt O’Shaughnessy recently completed his PhD in the Center for Machine Learning at Georgia Tech, where he was supported by the National Defense Science & Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) fellowship. His research develops mathematical tools that use structure hidden in data to help scientists understand complex systems. His work also studies the impacts of artificial intelligence on society. Outside of work, Matt is involved in advocacy for AI policy and enjoys baking, music, and anything outdoors.
