Maayan Roth

Maayan Roth is a software engineering leader and startup advisor, and the former Chief Technology Officer at Flatiron Health. Maayan joined Flatiron as an early engineer, when the
company was fewer than 20 people, and led the formation and growth of Flatiron’s oncology research business line from its creation to a team of over 100 engineers and over $100M in
annual revenue. Prior to joining Flatiron, Maayan was a senior software engineer at Google, working on data algorithms and infrastructure for Google Maps and Gmail. She has a PhD in
robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, where she also received her undergraduate degree in computer science. Maayan lives in Brooklyn with her two young children, two elderly cats, and one husband, and enjoys riding her cargo e-bike, making pottery and reading.
