Joshua Gordon

Joshua Gordon is the founder and CEO of Red Pocket Inc., a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) that operates consumer- and business-oriented wireless brands in the United States including Karma Mobility, Red Pocket Mobile, Unreal Mobile, and FreedomPop. Josh is also a co-founder and serves on the board of the Democracy Council, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit, non-partisan organization dedicated to strengthening democratic institutions around the world. He previously held executive positions at several international telecommunications companies and was a Degree Fellow at the East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Josh’s commentary on the intersection between telecommunications and democracy has appeared in numerous publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, MSNBC, and The International Herald-Tribune. Josh received a JD from Harvard Law School, an MA in Southeast Asian Studies from the University of Hawaii-Manoa, and his undergraduate degree from Williams College.
