Jason Botts
Jason Botts serves as a fractional executive advisor, Chief Innovation Officer, and Head of Technology and Innovation for a handful of private sector companies. He previously led information technology strategy and operations at Martin Marietta, an S&P 500 materials company, and more recently, at Chiltern International, a global clinical research organization that’s now part of LabCorp/Covance. Jason is serving in his second term — by appointment of the Governor — to the North Carolina Board of Science, Technology, and Innovation. Shortly after earning his MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, Jason completed his second “master’s program” by becoming a Master Gardener volunteer where he enjoys talking about turf and tomatoes, not just technology.
