Colin Jenkel

Colin Jenkel is the Application Security Audit Manager for Amazon’s Financial Operations group and has spent the last eight years in various technology management roles in the private industry. He has worked on diverse projects including launching immersive AV experiences, designing COVID-19 response systems, and testing emerging tech, such as UAV detection sensors. He holds degrees in Information Security, Networking, and Clinical Science. Prior to entering the tech world, Colin spent time in the Army, conducted research on microfluidics, and trained as a commercial salvage diver. In his time off, you might find him playing with his kids, cooking, working in his wood/metal/electronics shop, or fixing his 1940 Buick.
