Andre Uhl
Andre Uhl is a new media artist turned AI ethicist with work experience across North America, Europe, and East Asia. As a Technology and Innovation Fellow at the Planetary Health Alliance, he is currently leading development of open innovation platforms that (re-)empower community guardianship via principles of participatory design. Previously, Andre was a researcher at Harvard University’s Ethics and Governance of AI Initiative, where he focused on epistemic justice in responsible innovation practices. Andre holds a PhD from Harvard University, an MA from Tokyo University of the Arts, and a BA from Free University Berlin.
